Mind and Body medicine is a holistic approach to traditional medical care to help treat illnesses without pills or procedures. Mind and Body medicine is being used in major medical centers across the United States to teach you to enlist your own healing resources and reduce your dependence on doctor visits and medications. Dr. Porter will be discussing non-drug interventions to alleviate illness and enhance quality of life.

Dr. Porter is a 1966 graduate of Harvard Medical School's Mind and Body Medical Institute. She received her medical degree from Cornell University Medical College and is certified in interactive guided imagery. Dr. Porter has a practice in Mind/body Medicine in Chambersburg, where she helps people reduce stress, resolve toxic emotions, and find healthier lifestyles.

This presentation is sponsored by SNaP and Summit Health and is free of charge. If you plan to attend, please e-mail Donna at execdir@snapn.org or call 352-2612.
